Slides

A slide is a screen fixed at 1280×720 (16:9) — a page that happens to be widescreen. Same wordmark, type, Rules, and dark mode. Titles sit on the 12-column grid; a section divider is one Rule and one label; a deck inverts wholesale.

Approach06 / 13

Token, not value

A

A measured value

A number invented for one spot. It can't be traced, and it drifts the moment the design moves.

B

A token

A value that descends from the scale. Change it once and every surface follows.

Process07 / 13

From worldview to surface

01

Worldview

A white field, one black arrow, pointing forward.

02

Tokens

The picture becomes named values — oklch, rem, px, mm.

03

Primitives

Surface, Rule, Mark, Annotation, Swatch, Series.

04

Media

The same identity re-projected on every plane.

Channels by quarter

Charts carry no color. The grayscale ramp ranks series light→dark — the darkest gray leads.

The monochrome discipline is the identity — there is no accent to lean on.
